Fay Surprise: Intensifies After Landfall, May Become Hurricane In Atlantic Tropical Storm Fay may strengthen to a hurricane over Atlantic

From the NHC: FAY DID NOT WEAKEN OVER LAND AS ANTICIPATED AND IN FACT…IT IS
STRONGER THAN IT HAS EVER BEEN SO FAR.

Fay may hit Jacksonville or Georgia Coast as hurricane and may move into Gulf of Mexico
