Fall Colors In Texas Tree; Sooner Shaker: Minor Earthquake In Central Oklahoma; Severe Weather As Holiday Approaches
Fall Colors In Texas Tree: Fall foliage is usually comprised of two colors in Texas: brown and yellow, in that order.
Sometimes, a tree here or there can produce some nice colors.
I came across a color-confused tree just outside my workplace in east Fort Worth, Texas, and snapped some shots yesterday at about noon, just hours after a storm moved through and later produced 70 mph wind gusts in Dallas County (more on that in yesterday’s entry). The image links to a larger version.
I plan to take my “real” digital camera out later today and, should it be sunny, I may get some better shots of either this tree or a couple in nearby Keller.
As for the Fall Foliage webcams page that was on this Web site for the past couple of months, I removed it yesterday, since everything listed is well past its peak.
