Florida Colder Than N.D./Sask., Canada Border Overnight: At 2 a.m. EST Tuesday, the surface temperature was 32 degrees on the NW North Dakota/Saskatchewan, Canada, border and 28 degrees in Jacksonville, Florida… The official low this morning in Minot, N.D. was 31, in Daytona Beach, Florida, 31, and in Jacksonville, 26. More Cold: Winter blast heads for Seattle | The entire nation may experience this weekend the coldest weather since early December, says AccuWeather. Also, the article notes that before the big freeze, a warm-up this week may lead to some flooding as all that snow melts in the Northeast.
