Isabel Leaves 17 Dead, Millions Without Power, Flooding; From Space; Biggest WX Day
Isabel, a tropical storm by Friday morning with 40 mph winds, came ashore just before 1 p.m. Thursday in North Carolina. Some received 10 inches of rain and 100 mph winds, leaving damage and flooding. The storm has killed 17, and more than 4.3 million were without power across the East Coast as of Friday morning.
