WXnation Redesigned: You may have noticed a great deal of rearranging and some changes to the look of the WXnation city pages as of early today. The content is now in one column, in attempts to reduce the appearance of too much clutter. (Yes, all links are still on one page — I don’t believe in making people click through several pages to get what they want.) Instead, bookmark links are at the top of the pages for quick access to webcams, etc. I hope you find the changes to be an improvement. Content-wise, this is the largest redesign since the site launched in Feb. 2002 with radar and webcam links at the top of two columns. Two years later, the site’s background color was changed from black to off-white.

Hoorah! Skiers in Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho were treated to news photos of snow falling on Schweitzer and 49 degrees north this morning. (Sandpoint, ID and Chewelah PK WA) Hard to believe the forecast is for a high of 77 Friday. I wrote intellicast and they changed the mosaic later in the afternoon :)
