U2 Assembles Another Classic: Here’s a smaller and off-topic review compared to yesterday’s entry … I’ve been a fan of U2′s music since early 1994 (Oddly enough to some, it was “Zooropa” that got me hooked). I enjoyed their musical journey though the ’90s and have long thought their 1991 album “Achtung Baby” to be their masterpiece, but I’ve just finished listening to their 11th studio album, “How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb,” for the first time, and I’d put it right up there with “Achtung,” “The Joshua Tree” and “All That You Can’t Leave Behind.” You can hear the new album in its entirety online (for free) at U2.com. Upon the first listen, I especially like the first six tracks and the closer, “Yahweh.” Here’s a good review/article from USAToday.com. The CD is in stores Tuesday, and the tour kicks off March 1, 2005.
