World Of Webcams: Why They Put Webcams On Their Sites

WXnation.com News: New City Page For New Jersey: Atlantic City. The NJ webcam links that were in the New York City page are now in the Atlantic City page, though some NJ cams pointed at the Big Apple are still in the NYC page. The total WXnation.com city page count is now 109 cities in 48 states and two Canadian provinces.

City Page Name Change: After checking with the latest Census.gov metropolitan area population stats, I have opted to re-label the weeks-old Fort Myers page as “Cape Coral, FL” throughout this site, and titled the page “Cape Coral/Fort Myers, FL.”

Top 5 WXnation.com city weather and webcam pages visited Thursday: 1. Vancouver 2. Phoenix 3. Boston 4. San Diego 5. Los Angeles … See the top 20 so far this month in the left column of our home page.

Interesting note (to me): A day after the Boston Red Sox made history with a monstrous comeback, the WXnation.com city page for Boston moved ahead of NYC in page views for the first time this month on Thursday: a fact that’s neither historic nor newsworthy…
