Solstice lunar eclipse early Tuesday morning

The total eclipse will last from 2:41 to 3:53 a.m. ET. How rare is a winter solstice lunar eclipse?

Since Year 1, I can only find one previous instance of an eclipse matching the same calendar date as the solstice, and that is 1638 DEC 21
